Why We Started

Friesen Holistic Services LLC was founded by Kelly Friesen, a Registered Nurse and Mother of a young adult who lives with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).  After years of being on a waiting list, her son was given an opportunity to live in a traditional corporate supported living apartment.  This opportunity came with limited services and loss of autonomy over the waiver.  Kelly knew there needed to be more options!  This is why Friesen Holistic Services LLC was created.  Individuals with an ASD now have the benefit of Nurse Advocate Services to work on improving Life Skills, to get the supports they need to become more independent.  In addition, the family and/or representatives will continue to maintain financial governance over the waiver.

Financing

Services may be covered for individuals living with an ASD who are currently using a Developmental Disability waiver.  Clients must be utilizing a Consumer Directed Consumer Supports (CDCS) Model.  Not currently using a CDCS model?  Call and we can discuss your options.  Private pay is also accepted.

Modern Living Room

Our Location

Friesen Holistic Services is located in Otsego, MN (between Rogers and Elk River).  Otsego offers the feel of country living but has the amenities of a small city.  Downtown Otsego has apartments within walking distance of many businesses to provide opportunities for autonomy, employment and socialization.  It is a wonderful setting for individuals who wish to live independently!  While I may be able to guide you, the apartment lease is separate from services.  If you have questions about this process, please give me a call at 763.232.8700.
