Autism Advocacy in Action!
As of April 2025, 1 in 31 children have been diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum. The need to share information about Autism resources has never been greater!
Below you will find recent interviews with community advocates such as BOB COUNTRY 106.1 FM and others who have been kind enough to provide platforms to bring the conversations & information sharing to our community members.
You will also see a list of resources for local programs in Minnesota.

MN Waiver Reimagine
MN Waivers are used by over 80,000 Minnesotans with disabilities. Included are the following four Waivers; Developmental Disability (DD), Community Access for Inclusion (CADI), Community Alternative Care (CAC), & Brain Injury (BI). These four will condense to two waivers: Individual Support Waiver (community living) & Residential Support Waiver (corporate care living). As proposed, budgets will be based upon the location a person lives. Stakeholder involvement included the MN Waiver Reimagine Advisory Committee (WRAC) from 2022-2025, which Kelly was a member. WRAC disbanded in July 2025, and the Waiver Reimagine Advisory Task Force is in its place. Kelly & others have been advocating to have budgets based upon an individual's needs, not the location in which they live. The advocating has included involving our Legislators, as well as proposing Legislation. To learn more, please visit the DIVA link. linked here.
